I began my journey toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor when I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University.  I then went on to earn my Master's degree in Counselor Education with a focus in Clinical Mental Health from the University of New Orleans.  I have over fifteen years experience working in the mental health field, starting out in community based mental health.  It was through this work, that I gained invaluable experience and learned the most about human resilience.  I understand the importance of a good fit between therapist and client and strive every session to promote healing and wholeness.  As a therapist, I work to help my clients realize it is never too late to make changes in their life, show up for themselves and to be brave.  I look forward to assisting you on your journey.
